Here’s what we’re looking for in our pawtner:
- Companies must have at least 100+ local employees across the Metro Detroit area
- Companies must help us promote the offer to their employees.
Here’s how most pawtners engage their employees:
- Post the offer in their employee portal or intranet (if one exists)
- Include the offer in New Hire onboarding
- Share the offer during Open Enrollment as an employee benefit
- Announce the offer to employees in corporate newsletters

FAQs
Does the company have to be based in Detroit?
Preferred partners do not have to be based in Detroit proper. Companies must have at least 100 or more employees who reside in Metro Detroit.
Does the company have to be a 501c3?
No, the company does not have to be a 501c3 or qualify for special tax exemptions.
Can I participate in the program if I’m already a Canine To Five client?
Yes! The program is open to current and potential Canine To Five clients who are current employees of an enrolled partner.
Can I just sign my company up?
Companies must be enrolled by the appropriate contact who is responsible for employee perks programs. You may submit an interest form and will be prompted to identify the appropriate contact. You can help connect us to streamline enrollment.
Does pricing take place retroactively?
The discount is not applied retroactively. Once you follow the steps below to activate the discount, you will receive the discount on future services that have not yet been paid for.
My company is enrolled already. How do I access pricing?
If your company is already enrolled and you would like to activate the discount, simply show your badge or proof of employment next time you’re at a Canine To Five location and our staff will assist you in applying the discount for future services.
Is this discount available with the multiple pets discount?
Your discount will not stack on top of the multi-dog discount; You can still take advantage of a discounted package for your first pup, and utilize the multi-dog discount for any additional dogs’ packages.
Program Rules
Must provide proof of employment or residency to redeem. Offer not valid on the 3 Day Warm Up Package, 1 Month Unlimited Package, or Puppy Preschool Packages. Cannot be used towards single days of daycare. Cannot be used towards any add-on services or retroactively applied to services. Discounts & packages are non-transferable.
